Experimentation must include a meticulously detailed protocol. This should describe not only the three main components of the experiment (prototype, user and territory), but also the expectations, the hypotheses to be verified and validated (or not), the constraints, the risks, as well as the organization and timetable for carrying out the experiment.
The experimentation protocol is a structuring element for the experimentation, and its aim is to create a common language between the various players involved in the project. This protocol includes a general process, which is often iterative. This process consists, in effect, of a roadmap comprising phases, objects and precise deliverables.
