2.1 Repeatability and reproducibility according to ISO 5725

As precision measures the dispersion of measurements and as this dispersion has various causes , two extreme situations are defined in which replicates can be achieved from the single sample using the same method under:

  • repeatability condition;

  • reproducibility condition.
