4. Conclusion
The work presented focuses on the analysis of growing, healthy, pathological and repaired bone. The applications targeted in the end concern the clinical, disability, shock biomechanics and sports fields. For example, in the repair of large-volume bone loss, grafting a periosteal flap appears to be a vascularization vector that accelerates callus formation; numerical models can also be used to predict the ultimate quality of callus as a function of the level of mechanical stabilization.
