3. Modeling as a decision-making aid
The software chain organized on the basis of energy modeling has two interests. The first is to support all project stakeholders at every stage. And above all, it enables each player to reflect on the essential data they need to collect in order to be able to benefit from the results of a simulation of their own choices.
This may seem counter-intuitive, considering the very principle of the tools used, which is based on the most precise possible approach to the complexity of the phenomena modeled. However, rather than resorting to simplifying simplifications, the lack of available data leads us to think in terms of default data, drawing on previous experience.
