In this period of Major Interprofessional Upheaval, an expression heard at one of the many conferences dealing with BIM, the architect cannot remain a spectator.
Despite all the criticism heard or read in the various specialized blogs, if the promoters of BIM are essentially the large groups interested in "big business as usual", the fact remains that this BIM process is inescapable, and architects must react and take the lead, to avoid being relegated to the position of art director.
