6. Conclusion
The rule of confidentiality usually observed in structural pathology has the opposite effect of rendering the occurrence of a series of disorders undetectable, before their accumulation draws attention to them. It is by transgressing this rule that we can achieve the desired goal: the serene image of a construction method with very little sinsitrance.
The existence of "regulatory disasters" should not be linked to CB 71 rules alone. It cannot be ruled out that Eurocode 5, by virtue of its experimental nature and despite its European status, may contain dangerous shortcomings, the presence of which could not be detected other than by experimental means.
