1. Wood fuels
Numerous wood deposits are available and can be used to produce fuels after a more or less extensive conditioning phase:
forestry operations (logging, skidding, pruning, etc.);
Primary wood processing (sawmills, panels, etc.);
secondary wood processing (joinery, furniture, construction);
the packaging industry: pallets, crates... ;
demolition and renovation companies;
landfills and waste disposal sites.
Of these sources, the first four can easily supply fuel, while the last two most often supply waste that cannot be burned directly in boilers, unless special authorization has been obtained from administrative structures.
