The calculation method for the 2012 Thermal Regulations - Specific points

An aeraulic assessment is carried out at each time step. This is used to calculate the pressure at floor level in each zone (P _ib ).

The specific airflows associated with ventilation systems are determined, then the airflows due to the transparency of the envelope are deducted. The latter correspond to air flows passing through air inlets and envelope imperfections (also known as air permeability).

Groups in the same zone can communicate, but only via a specific group called hall/circulation. The temperature and humidity of the groups can be used, after the aeraulic balance, to carry out a thermal balance.
