5. Non-standard installation techniques for bitumen shingles
The most common procedure is the Avis techniques (ATec). It has replaced the approval procedure and is reserved for :
materials that do not comply with standard NF P 39-302 (December 1987), thick shingles (e.g. Toisite shingles manufactured by Siplast) (ATec 5/92.891);
materials that comply with this standard but are installed on discontinuous supports (e.g. French or hook installation);
materials that do not comply with this standard and are installed on discontinuous supports (e.g. Toisite shingles).
In special cases of use or implementation, the Atex procedure can also be used.
