Steel; acier
A metal alloy composed mainly of iron and carbon, produced by the reduction of iron ore, scrap metal and metallurgical coke.
Conductivité électrique; electrical conductivity
The ability of a material to conduct electricity, expressed in S/m.
Conductivité thermique; thermal conductivity
The capacity of a material to transmit heat, expressed in W/m.K. It is linked to the coefficient of thermal expansion, which is a measure of the variation in dimension of a material as a function of temperature, expressed in 1/K.
