External thermal insulation (ETI) on facades is an effective and versatile solution for improving the energy performance of buildings while optimizing their aesthetics. This technique, which involves covering the building's load-bearing structure with an insulation system, meets the requirements of thermal regulations, in particular RE2020, by limiting heat loss and offering greater comfort to occupants. ETICS also preserves interior space, thus maintaining the living area while enhancing the exterior of the building thanks to a wide range of possible materials and configurations.
ITE comes in two main types: wet and dry. Dry facade solutions, and more specifically cladding, are particularly popular. This type of cladding is added to the supporting structure without compromising its functionality, and can be removed without affecting the integrity of the building....
