The industrial offer for parquet flooring can be grouped into the main families defined here.
2.1 Solid wood flooring
Standard NF B 54-000 of July 1974 defines the manufacturing characteristics of these parquets, which are installed by nailing, and refers to specific appearance classification standards.
Some manufacturers offer glued solid wood floorboards.
For species whose grading is not covered by a standard, the quality of the boards must be specified in the specific contract documents (DPM). Tables 4 and 5 summarize the characteristics of these types of flooring.
