6. Cold water network
The layout of a network depends on the construction (routes, holes, supports, etc.), but other trades (electricians, carpenters, masons, etc.) must also be taken into account. For any project of any significance, it's a good idea to look for possible routes and to assign each trade the place it needs to occupy. Several criteria need to be taken into account: choice of pipe material, nature and temperature of the fluid, pipe layout, assembly method, installation (buried or embedded pipes), supports and hydraulic constraints (pressure drops, flow rates, pressures).
The most widely used calculation method is that based on DTU 60.11 and PR NF EN 806-3.
