Eurocode 2: Reinforced concrete - General provisions and data

Essentially, the text of EC2 refers to section 2 of EN 1990 "Bases de calcul des structures", with only the amendments and additions necessary to adapt it to concrete materials. Paragraphs 5.8.3 and 5.8.4 of the [C 60] file describe the combinations of actions to be considered in the calculations, the actions themselves being defined in EN 1991 "Actions on structures".

In principle, thermal effects, differential settlement and shrinkage/creep effects only need to be taken into account for serviceability checks....
