5. Manufacturing and installation
The manufacture and application of BPR do not require any special equipment, but must comply with a number of specific rules.
If BPR is manufactured from premix, simply store the bags or big bags in a weatherproof location.
If each of the components is used separately, they must not be subject to major variations in composition, and their characteristics must be checked by batch, on departure from the manufacturing plants and on arrival at the BPR production site. Powders must be delivered dry and stored in closed envelopes (sealed bags for small quantities, silos for large quantities). Fibers must also be delivered and kept as dry as possible, and stored away from bad weather.
