8. Rescue equipment
They are tested on typical fireplaces according to the following fire classes:
Class A: fires involving solid materials, generally organic in nature, which burn normally with the formation of embers;
class B: fires involving flammable liquids or liquefiable solids ;
class C: gas fires ;
class D: metal fires.
