Sewers may or may not (e.g. masonry sewers) be equipped with a water collection system (gutters).
Eaves tiles must have the same slope as other tiles. To achieve this, the first row of eaves tiles is raised using techniques that depend on the eaves finishing principle (see § Straight eaves below).
