1. Choice of pumping system
Different pumping systems are available, and their choice depends on the specific requirements of each installation.
Consisting of a piston moving in a cylinder, these single- or double-acting devices generally generate high pressures. Their pulsating flow requires the presence of an air reservoir to regulate fluid flow.
Added to this is the fact that, based on a volumetric principle, these pumps run the risk of generating prohibitive pressures in the event of accidental discharge blockage. Safety devices such as pressure relief valves or pressure switches are therefore essential.
This type of pump is highly efficient. They are most often found in semi-deep wells
