When selecting a dowel, it's important to be aware of its application conditions (type of installation, model used).
Dowel selection can be determined through the following process:
type of material (solid, hollow) ;
design loads (light, medium, heavy) ;
installation method (through or in front of the part to be fastened) ;
anchor removability requirement ;
match the ankle's technology to the above criteria.
