Nonlinear calculations have become indispensable for modern structures, given the optimization of their design, which leads to flexible, slender structures with as few materials as possible.
These calculations make it possible to realistically model the actual behavior of structures, and to identify any design and safety margins.
It is therefore important to combine geometrical and material non-linearity, in order to produce results that are as accurate as possible for controlling the actual behavior of structures.
