Presentation of the different types of interior wall insulation for individual and collective housing.

Created on the initiative of the French government, technical opinions are issued by the Commission responsible for issuing technical opinions (CCFAT) on innovative construction products and processes. It is carried out by specialized groups (GS) who formulate the opinion under the authority of the CCFAT.

The CSTB plays a special role defined by ministerial decree:

• it examines requests for technical advice and reports them to the GS ;

• It acts as the CCFAT secretariat;

• it registers and publishes technical notices and technical application documents on its website.
