10.  Conclusion

Rolling scaffolding is still widely used for buildings with high ceilings (especially on the first floor): industrial buildings, town halls, village halls, single-storey factories with shed roofs, etc.

This work equipment is both useful and safe, provided that all tests and checks are carried out, and all instructions for use are followed (e.g. do not move with a person on it, do not pull a cable from a working level, etc.).

They often take a long time to set up, especially when working at height. For this reason, they are often replaced by trucks equipped with aerial platforms (figure 20 ), or by platforms with lifting platforms (figure 21 ).
