3.1 Staircases, vomitories, grandstand exits and non-removable bleachers (article PA 7)
The width of staircases other than those serving bleacher seats, vomitories and walkways linking vomitories to the outside floor must be calculated on the basis of 1 passageway unit per 150 people.
In theaters and amphitheatres, a vomitory is a wide passageway giving access to the various floors and tiers.
The width of staircases serving seating areas must be calculated on the basis of 1 passageway unit per 150 people.
The number of exits from grandstands, bleachers and vomitories must be such that they are between 2 and 8 units wide.
