4. Smoke extraction (Article V 6)

§ 1 In mitigation of article DF 7 (§ 7 of [TBA 3 004]), only the following must be cleared of smoke:

basement rooms with a surface area of over 300 m²;
rooms with a surface area of more than 300 m² on the first floor or upper floor, and with a ceiling height of less than 4 m.

The establishments referred to in this article are class 1 for the purposes of determining the coefficient as defined in the appendix to Technical Instruction no. 246
