Infiltration-percolation of wastewater (figures 6, 7 and 8) is a treatment technique that consists of passing wastewater through an aerobic biological filter on a fine granular medium. This process is carried out by conveying the wastewater in a staggered manner over a number of specially designed infiltration zones.
