2. Mathematical models deduced from a bond graph

The bond graph model of a dynamic physical system acts as an intermediary between the physical diagram and the associated mathematical models (linear or non-linear equation of state, transfer equation in the linear case). Causality enables the relationships characterizing the dynamic evolution of the system to be written down systematically and in a highly structured way, combining differential equations and algebraic equations.
