4. Conclusion
The problem of keeping complex systems running, even in the event of minor failures, is now at the heart of many technological, scientific and financial issues. The aim of this article is to provide an overview of diagnostic and prognostic methods applicable to complex multiphysics systems. Some of these methods are then reviewed and applied, by way of illustration, to a complex multiphysical system par excellence: a low-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell.
