3. Corrector structure
Specifications are obtained by appropriately calculating the action u (t ) to be sent to the actuator, based on the available information (setpoint, output, intermediate signals available on the process).
In a linear control scheme (linear operators), each piece of information used can be associated with the transfer function that reflects its contribution to the calculation of the action u (t ). The general corrector therefore comprises several transfer functions linking the signals used (output, setpoint) to the control.
