Example

Let's take the case of a fluid level control application in a tank with constant leakage (figure 1), where the role of the control system (a control station) is to control the fluid level on the basis of the measurement taken by an analog sensor. This is a command to be executed periodically, the action of which is to adjust the opening of the reservoir supply valve.
