As we saw earlier, the use of lasers in surgery is becoming increasingly recurrent in various medical and surgical disciplines (figure

). The same applies to the introduction of robots and artificial intelligence into the operating theatre. Indeed, surgical robotics enable clinicians to perform many types of intervention (open, minimally or non-invasive, etc.) that can be complex with greater precision, flexibility and control than traditional techniques
