The polarization of light is the study of the orientation of the electric field in the wave plane. . Natural light comes from a multitude of small emitting centers, each of which generates an independent wave train, or a small, time-limited vibration. In this way, the electric field is randomly oriented in the wave plane over time, as the various emitters move.
