Ceramics are generally obtained from compacted powders and high-temperature treatment, without however reaching fusion temperature, to make the material dense. . As a general rule, the implementation of a ceramic process requires mastery of the following stages: powder synthesis, shaping and heat treatment or sintering (figure 10).
