3.1 Threshold systems

Self-detecting optronic systems process the electrical signal delivered by their detector to deduce, without human intervention, whether the radiation, message or object in question is present in their field of vision. These devices can be used for surveillance, intrusion detection, transmission/reception, telecommunications, telemetry, etc.
