7.1.1 General description
The pressurizer is a vertically-positioned cylindrical tank, around 13 m high, with a diameter of between 2.5 and 3 m, and a volume of 40 m3 for 900 units, or 60 m3 for 1300 units. It is connected to the CPP, but maintained at a higher temperature. It consists of several ferritic medium-alloy steel shells and two welded hemispherical bottoms, all internally lined with austenitic steel.
