Heat transfer in porous media - Phase Change

In the following, it is assumed that the porous medium is a three-phase system consisting of the solid matrix, a single-component liquid phase and a gas phase. Figure 5 schematically represents the situation under consideration and the multi-scale aspects inherent in the description of porous media. Obtaining macroscopic models from physical modeling at the pore scale, also known as scale shifting, is not covered in this article.
