4. Conclusion

Amendment 5 to standard NF C 15-100 has brought profound changes to the ergonomics of the text. Residential premises are no longer part of Title 7, Rules for Special Installations and Locations, but of two titles: Title 10 for low-voltage electrical installations in residential premises, and Title 11 for communications network installations in residential buildings.

The content of Title 10 differs little from the old text, except for the choice of protection against electric shock and the protection volumes for premises or locations containing a bath or shower. The organization of Title 10 is new, however, and includes premises or locations containing a bath or shower.
