2. Industrial realizations
To maintain the temperature of an oil unit, the user has defined the geometric characteristics of the lines to be drawn and the calculation assumptions:
temperature to be maintained: 80 C to ± 5 C ;
minimum outside temperature: – 15 C ;
pipe diameters: 4 and 6 inches ;
total length of all pipes to be traced: approx. 10,000 m ;
thermal insulation: 40 mm thick rock wool;
no preheating required.
