Protection sensitive to exceeding a preset current threshold.

Homopolar amperometric overcurrent protection

Protection sensitive to exceeding a preset zero sequence current threshold.

Directional phase protection

Protection capable of discriminating between an upstream polyphase fault and a downstream polyphase fault.

Homopolar wattmetric protection (PWH)

Protection sensitive to exceeding a preset zero sequence power threshold, capable of discriminating between upstream and downstream earth faults.

Directional grounding protection

Protection capable of discriminating between an upstream earth fault and a downstream earth fault.

Protection time delay

Minimum continuous time for detecting the presence of a fault before the protection delivers a fault detection signal.
