6. Installation. Installation

To achieve greater reliability and shorter on-site assembly times, the modular indoor substation is highly industrialized. All HV equipment is assembled, adjusted and tested at the factory, then transported to the site, where only the sub-assemblies are assembled.

The construction of the modular indoor substation, for the HV part, includes the following phases:

  • construction of the substation's reception slab and grounding network;

  • construction of the steel-frame building that forms the load-bearing structure;

  • assembly of prefabricated subassemblies in this building;

  • control wiring for non prefabricated elements ;

  • verifications.
