2. Knowledge of structures
Operating the network means that the person in charge has to react to various events that may occur on the network. The random nature of these events requires knowledge of the structures and preparation to determine the right attitude to adopt depending on the situation. This preparation can be broken down into 3 parts:
knowledge of the geographical location of the network ;
knowledge of network topology ;
knowledge of the electrical state of the network.
