2. Performance and yield verification
Standard practice is to check that the equipment supplied delivers the contractually agreed performance.
The manufacturer generally has a certain amount of time (1 to 2 months) to fine-tune his equipment and carry out adjustments, after which acceptance tests are carried out.
These tests cover at least :
achieving maximum speed;
-
obtaining :
of boiler outlet pressure,
superheated and reheated steam temperatures in the pages provided,
good combustion quality,
guaranteed performance (at one or more speeds) ;
and, more generally, on the verification of contractual stipulations, which can vary widely depending on the purpose for which the equipment is used by the customer. These include pressure losses (superheater, resuperheater), steam purity, limitation...
