4.1.1 Model tree architecture
Umberto® can be used to structure a model in hierarchical levels (pyramid modeling). The main network, as defined in the previous paragraph, can be subdivided into sub-networks, or integrated into a higher-level network.
In concrete terms, a user wishing to detail the operation of a transition can transform it into a subnetwork. This subnetwork can be modeled using the same tools as the main network (transition, place, arrow). A third level can also be created...
