Controlling VOC-laden gaseous emissions requires a global view of emission trends over a given territory. In France, CITEPA (Centre Interprofessionnel Technique d'Etudes de la Pollution Atmosphérique) is responsible for the technical production of national inventories of atmospheric pollutant emissions for the Ministry of Ecological Transition, in accordance with the NEC directive on national emission ceilings (2016/2284/EU).
