Manufacturer

Natural or legal person established in the Community who manufactures a substance in the Community.

Manufacturing

Production or extraction of substances in their natural state.

Supplier of a substance or mixture

A downstream user or distributor to whom a substance or mixture is supplied.

Importer

Any natural or legal person established in the Community who is responsible for the import.

Import

Physical introduction into the Community's customs territory.

Mix

A mixture or solution composed of two or more substances.

Market launch

The act of supplying a product or making it available to a third party, whether in return for payment or not. All imports are considered to have been placed on the market.
