The implementation of ecological design and management is an essential lever for gaining acceptance for changes in cemetery landscaping, and the development of spontaneous flora in particular. The transition from an entirely mineral space to one that leaves more room for plants and nature helps to defuse the feeling of abandonment that can arise among the families of the deceased, with the appearance of unwanted species.
