Adventice; Weed

A plant that establishes itself in an area without having been intentionally planted there. Often considered a nuisance and synonymous with weeds.

Bioagresseur ; Pest

Harmful organisms that attack cultivated plants and cause economic losses; they may be viruses, bacteria, fungi, insects, nematodes or weeds.

Cultivar; Cultivar

Plant variety artificially obtained for cultivation. Cultivars are often obtained by selection.

Endogé (earthworm); Endogeic (earthworm)

Non-pigmented earthworms that live inside the soil and never come to the surface. They feed on soil (see geophagous).
