Now that you've identified the sources of odor emissions, their composition, intensity and quality, and modeled the olfactory impact, you can consider preventive and/or curative measures to limit this impact.
3.1 Reduce impact directly at source
As far as possible, cover and ventilate canals, basins and storage areas where odorous effluents circulate, as recommended by article 20 of the ministerial decree of February 2, 1998.
Limit anaerobic situations as much as possible by installing cascade-type discharge stations to oxygenate your effluent, as recommended by article 20 of the ministerial decree of February 2, 1998.
