Hazard study: identification of external interests to be protected

This study concerns the external interests to be protected. With regard to the potential sources of aggression presented by industrial facilities, they represent the potential targets in the event of an incident linked to the site operator.

As a reminder, the purpose of the hazard study is to :

• on the one hand, to describe the hazards that the plant may present in the event of an accident, by presenting a description of accidents that may occur, whether their cause is internal or external, and by specifying the nature and extent of the consequences that a possible accident may have;

• secondly, to justify measures to reduce the probability and effects of an accident, determined under the responsibility of the applicant.
