"4.2 Environmental policy

"Management at the highest level must define the organization's environmental policy and ensure, within the defined scope of its environmental management system, that its environmental policy :

a) is appropriate to the nature, size and environmental impact of its activities, products and services;

b) includes a commitment to continuous improvement and pollution prevention;

c) includes a commitment to comply with applicable legal requirements and other applicable requirements to which the organization subscribes, relating to its environmental aspects;

d) provides a framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets;

e) is documented, implemented and maintained ;
