Relationship between ICPE regulations and other regulations

The planning certificate is not an authorization, and does not replace the building permit.

This is an administrative document that sets out the planning regulations applicable to a given plot of land. It is issued free of charge. There are two types of planning certificate:

• The certificat d'urbanisme d'information (urban planning certificate) provides information on the urban planning regulations applicable to a plot of land, in the absence of a specific project.
